"Ronin" to Appear in The Missouri Review BLAST Series

"Ronin," the story about a bicycle mechanic, presumptuous neighbors, a feral cat, and a violent struggle to regain balance after bitter losses, is scheduled for publication in The Missouri Review's online BLAST series.

Founded in 1978 at the University of Missouri, TMR has featured stories and poems that have been anthologized in Best American Short Stories, Best American Poetry, The O. Henry Prize Stories, and The Pushcart Prize and many others. “I’ve admired The Missouri Review for years," Joyce Carol Oates has said. "It’s one of a half-dozen literary magazines I always read.” 

Watch for the story to drop on September 1.
